Allergies:
Potomac
Glen Day School can accommodate most food allergies. Beginning
June 15, 2009, all students need to include a snack in their
lunch box for any snack time at school.
PGDS
has special parties throughout the year. If your child has
allergies, they will bring their own special snack for any
special day.
All
allergies are posted in the kitchen and in the child-specific
classroom.
Unfortunately, a peanut allergy is one we cannot accommodate.
PGDS is not a "peanut
free" school. If your child has a peanut
allergy that requires a "peanut free" environment,
then PGDS would not be the best choice for your child.
Although
we do not serve peanuts, we are not comfortable declaring
a peanut free environment due to lunches and special snacks
brought to school from home.
School
tours are the best time to receive further information on
our policies regarding allergies.
